Outdoor gathering with live music and colorful decorations.

At Anniston Elks Lodge #189, the regulars will tell you the same thing: everybody knows your name here. That is not a figure of speech. On any given Friday night, you will find members swapping stories at the bar, families sharing a table over fresh-made pizzas, and guests from as far as Detroit toasting a milestone birthday with the same warmth they would get in their own hometown.

The lodge sits at 1019 Noble Street with views that stretch out over the water, giving the whole place a relaxed, unhurried feeling that is hard to manufacture and impossible to fake. Whether the occasion is a milestone celebration, a weekly ritual, or a first visit on a road trip through Alabama, the atmosphere draws people back. A 4.3-star rating built across nearly 80 reviews does not happen by accident.

Founded as part of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge #189 carries on a tradition of community, charity, and fellowship that runs deeper than any single event. The food and the music bring you in. The people keep you coming back.
